How doctors choose to die

Doctors also die, but they don’t die like the rest of us. They know enough about modern medicine to know it’s limits! Usually doctors opt out of aggressive therapy for themselves and their family because they know what the consequences are: they prefer retreating and dying in peace amongst their loved ones.

Quality of life rather than quantity: the golden rule when taking care of those at the end of their lives is to allow them to die in dignity.
